I was recommended this product after having a microderm treatment at the Bend Derma Spa. I was told that my skin was dry. I could feel that it was dry where I was getting smile lines but I was still getting acne. I had been using Proactiv which even dried the dry areas out more.

But after a few weeks of using Emollience Rich my skin was clearing up. Ah - because there are so many great antibacterial oils in here and it was soothing and moisturizing.

I’ve just run really low and won’t be driving the distance to Bend and have decided to order online because I can’t imagine going without this product on any day.

And if you have any questions about using oil on oily skin remember your science class - oil breaks up oil, water and oil separate. Having the oils in this product keep the skin happy and the face washes so much cleaner without irritation.

I’ve been using this product (Skinceuticals Emollience) for 5-6 years now. It’s hard to find in salons and when you do find it you end up being pressured into unnecessary spa treatments (botox, 0 extractions, etc). If you are looking for a waterproof, sweatproof, awesome sunscreen, you have found it. I am always outside, working out, in the water and I was looking for something with zinc oxide in it, because I have a few tattoos and nothing is worse on a tattoo then the sun. Zinc Oxide is such a great block for your skin and tattoo’s, but it’s usually thick and cakey and white. This SkinCeuticals Sport UV Defense is perfect because it has the zinc oxide but you can’t even tell you’re wearing anything.

This product was recommended to me by my surgeon to help protect a healing scar I have under my left eye. I surf a lot and get a lot of sun from that, so I also needed a sunblock that is waterproof. Other sunblocks I have used that are supposedly waterproof have been too oily and the water caused it to get into my eyes which would sting. The skinceuticals sport uv defense spf 45 works well. A little bit goes a long way. At first it is really white but it soaks in quickly. I did not have a problem with my eyes stinging when wearing this in the water.
