This hair dryer is the third in a series of attempts to find the right hair dryer for my wife, who has long thick hair. The first one was a Vidal Sassoon that had ionic technology, but didn’t get near hot enough. She was drying her hair for > 20 minutes.

The second attempt was the Revlon RV469 ceramic, which was much quieter and got hotter, but didn’t have much air flow. Also, it is quite heavy. It was better than the first dryer, but not hair drying nirvana.

This dryer (Revlon RV544) has easily cut my wife’s drying time in half. She has very thick & long hair, and the high heat setting makes quick work of it. It gets hot enough that I actually tone it down to warm for myself (I have short, thick hair) whenever I have to use the dryer. I think the air flow settings are perfect. The dryer is also nice and light, and fits in a bathroom drawer easily, unlike some of the bulkier models out there.

My wife thinks this is the best dryer she has ever had. We highly recommend it.

I cannot say enough good things about this dryer! It dries incredibly quickly, is the lightest I have ever owned, and is very reasonably priced. I was going to buy the T3 Tourmaline for nearly 10 times the price, until I realized the seller would not honor its warantee on products purchased through Amazon. I have forever retired my previous ceramic dryer, which strained my arm so much, I considered installing a bracket on my body to hold it up. Other small details that make a difference: loop for hanging; buttons well-placed so on/off and cold setting are not hit by accident; comfortable to hold by nozzle instead of handle if desired.

I always look for a hair dryer that has separate heat and air flow settings, and a removable filter. This has those features. I had been curious about the ionic feature and when my conair died, I decided I’d purchase one with an ionic feature -afterall, it was only about 5 bucks more? I was skeptical enough to keep all the packaging in order to return it if it didn’t work. Afterall, who needs a dryer that doesn’t work? I didn’t have to return this one.
Have you ever left your hair in a towel until it was completely dry? That is how your hair will feel when you use this dryer, only it will take a much shorter amount of time. And be styled the way you want it to be!
I’ve found that this dryer does dry faster, and leaves my hair softer and shinier and fuller than my old conair.
I’ve got long thin hair, so thin that it NEVER keeps a curl, or the body and fullness that is there when you first dry it. This dryer allows my hair to keep body and fullness throughout the day. I’m not sure about other ionic dryers, but this one has a switch to turn off the ionic feature if you’d like - although I can’t imagine why.
I would highly recommend this hair dryer.

I really like this hair dryer. It is lighter than my last dryer, and very easy to manage. I like the setting options: cool, warm, or hot; and low or high. I use the warm & high settings. I think it dries my hair a little bit faster than my last dryer, and my hair feels Great! No frizz, not fried, just smooth and shiny. My hair is fine, not thick or coarse, so maybe that makes a difference in my experience.

I love this thing. I only buy Revlon products because I’ve come to realize that they’re stronger than other brantds. I bought it for like at Kmart. I had one before but this one is new and improved and seems more powerful than the other. Its cool because it dries your hair, straightens, and gives it flip or curl. My hair is hard to handle because I dye it and it looks really dry when I style it. With this thing, I use it and it takes me only like 20 minutes to dry, and style my hair. The first day I used it people were like “You’re hair is so nice today! What’d you do!?” Use this product with a syrum and hair spray. Thats what I find works best

I had read the reviews on several other hot roller sets so I really was skeptical about buying these. I was pleasantly surprised, however. Even though I would like a case that is more travel friendly, I would make the extra space in my suitcase for these. The rollers took only one time for me to get used to using them. They are a bit hot on the ends, and i could use about 5 to 7 more rollers, but overall they work well and the curls come out shiny and bouncy.

Set is not travel friendly at all. Clear plastic lid broke within weeks. Also, rollers do not heat as fast as stated. I do, however, like the design of the rollers themselves. My fine hair doesn’t stick to the roller like some I have had.

This hair dryer takes forever because it’s only hot when it’s on high… and it’s not even that hot then. If you have long hair forget it. Spend some extra $ and get a better dryer. I’m using this for my guest bathroom and looking for another for myself.

Bought this hair dryer several weeks ago to replace a Conair that had finally died. All I can say is this dryer has worked perfectly every time and drys my hair after showers with no problem and pretty fast. There was one time when after extended running it overheated and shut off on me. I simply let it cool down for 10 minutes and hit the reset button and it was back to normal. Very happy with the purchase and would buy it again. I should add that I do not expect any hair dryer to be silent and did not find the noise abnormal
