This lotion is the first one that i have tried that i can say i am satisfied with. I have eczema, which causes my skin to be very dry and itchy. This lotion actually improves my skin and makes it feel better. I actually can feel the effects of this lotion, and it really does last all day. I have crazy sensitive skin prone to dermatitis, hives, itchies of all kinds. It’s also very dry. I have to moisturize every inch of myself after a shower–from hairline to tips of toes.

Since they seem to be discontinuing my longtime moisturizer by Lubriderm (seriously sensitive), I decided to give Eucerin a shot. It’s excellent and I’m adding it to my anti-skin-woes arsenal.

This really is rich. A very thick cream. Unless your skin is moist from a bath or shower, prepare to have to do a little muscular rubbing to spread it. However, after your shower or bath, when you’ve patted dry, but are still moist–this is perfect and smooths on richly but easily. Thick enough that a little goes a long way. Very moisturizing, even for my super dry heels.

I like that it has no scent, not just because it’s less irritating that way (as many have allergies to scent/perfume), but it allows your own choice of perfume to shine and not be interefered with by a lotion’s scent.

A winner. Recommended for dry skin sufferers, especially the uber-sensitive.

I have rosacea which causes redness, itching and flaking on my nose, cheeks and chin. My doctor prescribed Metrogel. It controlled the rosacea, but it is a topical antibiotic, can have some serious side effects and is quite expensive. So, I asked my pharmacist what over-the-counter creams or lotions may be effective for treating skin irritations. I have mild to moderate rosacea. I was doing some research on the internet and came across a web site which was partially sponsored by Eucerin. Since I was already familiar with their fabulous hand lotion I decided to give their Redness Relief line of products a try.

I have been using the Redness Relief Soothing Moisture Lotion for two weeks now in conjunction with twice daily Redness Relief Soothing Cleanser. I can already see a marked difference in the level of redness on my face. I wash my face with the cleanser first, dry the skin and then apply the Moisture Lotion. Do not be concerned by the fact that the product contains only 1.7 fl. ounces. I use a tiny amount (probably smaller than 1/2 a dime) and it completely covers my face. This amount of product will last a long time. I have chosen to use the Redness Relief Soothing Night Creme at bedtime instead of the lotion. Since I have been involved in this reqime for such a short time I don’t know whether the Night Creme works any better than the lotion. I wanted to give myself as much chance to change the appearance of my face as possible so I opted to go with the three Redness Relief products. It may turn out to be that just the cleanser and lotion will be enough, with the lotion applied morning and night.

I could not find all three of these products at one store (I never did find the Night Creme here) so I chose to order them all at once from Amazon. The service was very quick and the shipping charge was almost the same as my state tax would have been.

I do realize that the manufacturer recommends a four week trial to gauge the outcome of the use of these products. I fully intend to continue to use all three on a daily basis and will return here after four weeks to update my information. I hope this has been helpful for you and that you will have the same positive results I have experienced so far.

****April 26, 2008****It’s time for a test result update. I have been using this product for over four weeks now and I am honestly amazed at the difference in the red tones of my skin. I do not use any cosmetics (never have) so any redness is right there for all to notice. I would estimate that there has been as much as a 75% change in my complexion. That is a very dramatic change. Remember, I’ve been using three products by Eucerin for this trial period.

I do have a little bit of negative feedback. This lotion, on occasion, makes my face feel oily. It doesn’t happen all the time but often enough for me to notice it. I don’t know what that can be attributed to but it is noticeable from time to time. Nothing I can’t live with, I’m just reporting. Eucerin has a product called Daily Perfecting Lotion which uses “subtle green Color Neutralizers” to counteract the redness. I think that I will try that next time and it may “cover” the redness altogether. Remember, I’m classified as mild to moderate rosacea.

I like this product and I know that this, in conjunction with the other two products I have been experimenting with have made a huge difference for me. On the realistic side, when I was outside in 80 degree weather, my face got just as red as always. It did fade much more quickly when I came inside. I had a slight flareup during my month long trial and I had to use my prescription medication. This product does not “heal”, it just helps cosmetically.

I’m a 6′1″, 240lb male. My feet take a lot of abuse from all the exercise I do daily. I sometimes train barefoot (i have my own gym in my basement) to increase my ankle strength.

Bottom line, the bottom of my feet were BAD! dry, brittle and hard, especially on the heel and big toe. I tries several other products before this one, because they were significantly cheaper. nothing worked.

then I finally bought a tube of this. with a week, there was a big difference. after the first tube, my feet felt and looked great. i now use this daily and am subscribed to amazon’s subscribe and save service to have this sent to me every 3 months at an even bigger discount.

from my experience, you need to make sure you use enough of this when you apply. dabbing a bit here and there doesn’t work for me. i had to generously apply this when using it. this means that a tube only lasts for about 2-3 weeks with 1 application a day.

tip: try putting this on after you get out of the shower, then put on socks for about an hour, i swear this makes your feet absorb this stuff ten fold.

can’t recommend this enough.

Here’s something that I never knew before: This product is “fragrance free” which means it has no fragrance. Some products are labeled, “scent free” which means they have fragrances but you cannot smell them. This is important if you have sensitivities to fragrances.

I’ve been using this product daily for several weeks now. WOW! It is really a good product that goes on without that greasy feeling. It’s even repaired my dry and cracked heels of my feet. I’ve tried all sorts of lotions for this and none have worked until I tried the Eucerin Daily Replenishing lotion.
